85% Girl??

Question

Mom of 4 boys, so I've seen my share of baby boy ultrasounds. Today our ultrasonographer looked and looked and didn't see "anything". When we asked her what percentage she was sure, she said 85%. She's been a tech for 30 years, and hasA fantastic reputation. Should I be nervous to take her word for it?

They can never say 100% for liability. I'm also a mom of 4 boys and found out through early genetics I'm have a girl!!!  Couldn't believe it. Had ultrasound at 14weeks. They said girl. Was still nervous going in for 20 week ultrasound. Still girl!!!  Lol. I think I will fully believe it when she is in my arms!  Lol. Congrats!!!!!!!

I think all ultrasounds they have to say 85%. I didn't ask the tech but I did ask my midwife and that's what she said.

My tech said the same thing today. 80/20 it's a girl. I have a son already and want a girl so bad.. I just don't think they can say 100% because then you could sue. I think they say that to cover their ass.

I'm the same. I have 2 boys 3 kids is our limit so I was freaking out at my scan. She said "now remember I'm not 100% sure." she handed me the sealed up scan and I opened later and it said girl. I was ecstatic but then started obsessing over the fact she said she was 100% lol

My first U/S they told me 100% girl and then every one after that they said girl.

I had an ultra sound at 15 weeks and 20weeks and both said girl. They didn't give me any percentage. Both done by different places.
