I told my husband I'd never had a partner give me a valentine. So he bought me a beautiful box, and filled it with 23 (how old I was) valentines day cards and wrote a note in each one how old we were when he was giving it to me and wishing me a valentines wish for that year.

I acted so mad that he spent SO much money doing that, but to this day its still one of my most prized possessions.

My husband made the most romantic bubble bath (I love bathing) with flowers all over the place, romantic music, chocolates and wine, a letter, and after I read the letter Jason Derulo's will you marry me played, he asked me to marry him, the ring was too big so we sent it back to make it smaller, when he got it I also took a bath, came into the room with him playing will you marry me on the guitar, on his knees, I have a real romantic husband

I have a very romantic husband. He is very caring. Because your dog that we rescued from the street is scared of other people we decided that we will wait to go on our honeymoon. So to make out honeymoon special he decided to surprise me and  reinacted all of our first dates together. For a whole week. But the moment that will always gets me the most was when we went to the movies a few months into dating we watched "Instructions not included". Well it made me cry a lot at the end. He thought I didn't like the movie but I told him I loved it. I told him why I cried so much. That when I was younger ( which I know is misinformation now) I was told I couldn't have kids and/or if I did I had a high risk of them getting sick and passing. My ex had told me that he didn't want kids with me because he would blame me for their passing if it ever occurred which was devastating. So I explained that if we had a future that I am sorry if that would happen. I started to cry again and he turned me around, teary-eyed, and said "I don't ever want you to apologize for something you have no control over, everything is in God's hands. You will never be blamed by me for something we can't control. So don't apologize. You haven't done anything wrong."  That moment there is when I knew I had to marry this man. I am so happy I did.

a month or so ago my SO and I had a minor argument before we both went to work and didn't have time to work it out before we had to leave. I sent him a text during the day that said something about how I felt awful about it. I came home to a giant arrangement of lilacs and wild flowers on the table that he had picked on his lunch break with a note saying how much he loved me. it was so sweet.

My husband is wonderful and has been by my side through so much in our 2 years together, but it is my college boyfriend who comes to mind. I was paralyzed from a spinal cord injury 3 years ago and spent 37 days in the hospital. He was there every day. The sweetest was the night before my big surgery in ICU. I had turned 24 in that hospital bed that day and since it was ICU, there was no bed/cot for a guest. That man slept in the floor next to my bed so I wouldn't wake up for surgery alone the next morning. I've never cried so many tears of gratitude.

My husband does sweet things for me all the time, but some of the most memorable are, when he surprised me with a trip to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We were going to stay local, but when we met with the travel agent for some help planning, she gave me a brochure for hawaii, and I said, "oh you must have us confused with another couple", he then said "baby we're going to Hawaii for ten days. I was so surprised and excited. He also found out that I had never had a valentine, so when I came home from some grocery shopping, our house was filled with balloons, and rose petals, leading to our bathroom. The tub was filled with bubbles and there were roses all around the tub and candles. Our bed was covered in petals as well, along with chocolate, and cards from him and our boys. He is so thoughtful and loving, but he out did himself, when I came home and found him and the boys sitting at the table with papers to adopt the boys and give them his last name, that one brought me to tears , just seeing how happy and loved he made our boys feel.
