Acupuncture & IVF? Thoughts?

I have my first acupuncture next weekend and start ivf soon. My RE recommended I try it out. For those who have tried it, do you think it’s worth it? How often do you usually go to an acupuncturist? Like what is recommended?

I did acupuncture. I started going the month before my ivf cycle. I went twice a week until my transfer cycle (I did a frozen transfer) and at that point went once a week. Once I had my transfer I didn’t go anymore. I ended up getting pregnant and all went well! I loved acu! It was so relaxing and I miss it! It’s just really expensive.

I started acupuncture 2 months ago and I’m currently on day 5 of stims for my first ivf cycle. I’ve been going weekly and if nothing else it has helped my stress and anxiety so much about this whole process. I’m planning on continuing to go weekly and hopefully we will be doing a fresh transfer in the next few weeks!

I went once a month for the 3 months leading up to IVF. Then 3 times during stims. I really believe it helped me recruit more eggs and help make all my eggs mature. In also had acupuncture immediately following my frozen transer. It was done by my RE! But you could have someone come to your clinic or go after transfer. I'm 8 days post transfer and getting strong positives so something helped!

I just had my first appt today and wished I started sooner! I already had my egg retrieval and I could have used the stress reduction during the stims as well.
I loved every second of it and didn’t want the session to end. I am now going twice a week until my transfer.... still unsure if it’s this month or next. 
After that I want to continue bc my center can help with preventing morning sickness too and with my son I was sick for 24 weeks.
