I got my right nipple pierced many moons ago when I was around 17. It hurt but healed fine. I then a few years later put a bar through it that was to big and it gave me a tiny hole in the middle. I had to remove it to allow the hole to shut. 
Never put the jewellery back in afterwards and never wanted it done again.

I used to date a piercer and watched him do a TON! They look amazing,  but I've never had the courage lol I've had almost everything else pierced.. but those are my boobies and I just can't get past it lol

I had them when I was 19. Piercing part wasnt as bad as I thought. Moment I took them out though they closed. Looking back I don’t think it was worth getting 🤷🏻‍♀️

Got mine at 18 and I’m 33 now and still have and love them. I have an insanely high pain tolerance so I didn’t think they hurt much and as long as you are pierced with a large enough captive bead ring you should be fine. (Don’t do a barbell. You need to be able to fully spin the ring around so you can clean it thoroughly and properly) you can always swap for a smaller diameter ring once they are fully healed.

Painful. I almost passed out getting them done. 6 years later and I’ve taken the jewelry out and left it out this year. The last jewelry I had, they were hurting really bad. Decided I’d be fine without them in.

Painful,  never fully healed, made my nipples extremely sensitive.
