How many cm were you dilated to when your water broke? Also, what came first contractions,water,birth?

Second: pitocin (induction due to preeclampsia), contractions, epidural, water, pushing.
(With both my water didn't break until
right before I was ready to push, never needed my water broken for me)

With my first I was barely at a 1 when my water broke. I had contractions first. Then when at the hospital was when my water broke.

I had a tear in my sack, so my water was coming occasionally in very small gushes and at first I didn't realize what it was. The first time it happened was 11:30 PM on Sunday night, and then again Monday morning. I was about 3 cm dilated when went in for my 39 week appt and had my membranes swept at 10:15 am. Then I got worried about the gushes so before I left I had them swab to see if it was amniotic fluid. Contractions started about an hour after my membrane sweep, and swab was confirmed for amniotic fluid. They broke my water the rest of the way and my labor progressed very gently until sometime after 4 when they gave me pitocin because even though I'd dilated to about a 7.5 they were worried about the risk of infection with how long labor was taking and how I was so calm and casual that it didn't seem like strong enough labor. Pitocin made things speed up and intensify real quick and Baby Lucy was born by 7 PM with 20 min of pushing!
