Feeling Sad :(

I've been ttc for about two years now. It's been that long since I came off the depo shot, after at least 5 years of being on it. I'm 31 years old. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm waiting for a referral to see a specialist so i can get checked out and see if anything is wrong. I just bought an ovulation kit that I'm going to try this month. I've never used one before. How important is it to pee at the same time everyday? Can it be the morning? I just really need some support. Maybe I'm too old to get pregnant now? I was always so careful to not get pregnant before I was ready, now that I am its not happening. It seems like everyone around me is having babies :( this period i was about a week late and got a little happy but then AF came today.
