I wanna have a party for my 17th birthday. I never had a birthday party. I also want some appreciation besides my family. Only thing is that when I bring it up to my parents they say no Bc 1. Most of my friends when I ask them to hang out they can’t hang out with me for some reason and 2. They tell me I make new friends a lot. Also 3. My parents don’t want any drinking or smoking or anything.

I think it’ll be fun but my parents worry that ppl won’t show up. I want to try but I’m scared that might happen since they said that I thought about it and now I’m worried to have a party
