Puking after nursing ??

My daughter is 14 months. She always nurses to sleep but last night she was puking it up. So I rocked her to sleep without it and she stopped puking. First thing when she woke up she pulled my shirt up and started nursing, she puked! 🤮 maybe she’s over doing it and getting too full?

I didn’t realize your little one is 14 months , mine is only 7 weeks, maybe it’s a stomach bug??? Or something else she ate during the day ?

Mine had this issue too. Could be a few things , fast let down, dairy allergy ( I was drinking a lot of milk) or acid reflux. I had all three against me! I cut out all dairy , saw lactation consultant again and she showed me a position on how to feed her upright and she is on .5ml of zantac and she is much happier and not spitting up like that anymore ! She literally spit all this up within minutes of nursing! I took the photos so I had something to show pediatrician when I took her in bc I was concerned about acid reflux, she was also crying , arching her back and refusing the nipple. She gets 1-2 bottles of breast milk a day to help because the lactation consultant said reflux babies will have a period of the day where it’s a little more active and the bottle is easier on their tummy and throats , plus I go back to work this week 😭😭😭😭😭😭
