Short dress to prom?

I was gonna wear a shorter dress, around knee length. Has anyone else worn a short dress to prom? Post pics please!

Make sure your school allows this, I know my prom had a dress code and you wouldn’t be let in if your dress wasn’t long

In my school people only wore short dresses if it wasn’t their prom- so if a gr 12 asked a younger student to go. 
I think they’re pretty and much easier to move around in!

I haven't but one girl in my year did. She definitely stood out and got many compliments. If it's within the dress code then sure, go for it
