28 and never had sex or relationship?

So you've seen the title... is this weird? I'm not saving myself for marriage. I had a pretty crap school life so never had a bf/gf there. Uni was very boring and now 6 years on I don't really meet anyone? I've tried online dating but never get past an awkward first date.

Am I the only one? Do you think future partners will find this really weird/off-putting? I think I'm now making this a bigger issue than it is cos all my friends keep saying "sex really isn't all its cracked up to be. You aren't missing out". But I don't know! Possibly the wrong group for this but looking for some truth!
