He spoke to me 😫

I’m going to sound like a 15 yo in this post but here is what happened:

Last year I saw this guy in my college - and I thought he was the guy of my dreams.. after a bit of stalking I found his social media and understood he was a quite well recognised youtuber in the past... i didn’t speak with him but we used to exchange looks all the time in university and it was cute...

Summer came and he got together with a girl 😕 so I decided to just stop thinking about it and I got with a guy... but a few weeks ago i noticed he followed me on instagram - bare in mind he has so many followers and hardly follows anyone...

Today, i had arranged to meet my friend to study in the library and as I get there my friend was with him (in a group of 6 people) having a coffee... i recognise another person and I say hi to both of my friends and hi to the group in general- pretending that my heart wasn’t about to drop... - then he stands up and says “hey I’m XXXX, what’s your name?” And gives me a weird handshake... (which was cute cus it felt lie he didn’t want to miss this chance of meeting me and he didn’t know how to do it) then he asked me where I was from... and then I left to the library... out of all the other people i didn’t know he was the only one to do this - and everyone went a bit silent like 👀🤔
