Pregnancy question??

I’m 14 weeks and 4 days. And I’ve only gotten 1 ultrasound which was at 7 weeks. Idk if that’s normal. My doctor just seems like whatever. I had told her that the prenatals she prescribed we’re making me sick and she just told me to deal with it. Every time I have a doctors appointment she just goes in and asks how I feel and if everything is okay. Then that’s it. Literally no longer than 10 minutes. Doesn’t even check the baby’s heart beat. I seriously wait like 45 minutes-an hour in the waiting room, even though I’m on time for my appointment. I wait longer in the waiting room than the actual appointment. Do you guys think I should go to a different obgyn?

I would see a different doctor you don’t have to deal with that kind of answers! If you decided to go back I would speak your mind, I know I would!

That’s how my ob is my daughter has kidney problems and I still only get seen once a month and am high risk pregnancy at 23 weeks  and same I wait longer in the waiting room then I get seen and she only listens to heart beat for about 10-20 seconds and she’s done and telling me I’m good to go

It's normal to not have had another ultrasound. Most don't have one til 12 weeks. Although, she does sound rude. I would find a different doctor

A lot of doctors won't check the heartbeat till around 16 weeks. The ultrasound thing is pretty normal too. Prenatals make a lot of women feel sick, so I usually take mine before bed where I can sleep through the queasyness. If you really don't feel confident with your doctor though, switch.

Find a new doctor. I drive over an hour for mine bc he is amazing. I could find one closer but I wouldn't want any other doctor. He called me to check on me and even sent me cards after my miscarriages. Personal cards, not just some stationary crap. He takes all my concerns seriously and does everything he can to help. You need to find a doctor like that!

My obgyn makes appointments for me every 4 weeks. My first one was at 7, my last one was 11, and my next one is 15 weeks. And it’s crazy for her to tell you to just “deal with it” when she could have given you other suggestions. I would defiantly be seeing another obgyn, I’ve already had to switch because the other one I went to was horrible! You don’t have to take the prenatals that they give you, I take these and they don’t make me sick at all because they taste soooo good and the sugar makes it taste even better but if you don’t like a lot of sugar you can get the uncoated sugar ones! I’m sorry you’ve had this kind of experience and hopefully you can find somewhere more comfortable and welcoming!

I would absolutely see someone else. I had my first US at 8 weeks, then at my first OB appt at 10 weeks she checked for a heartbeat stated it was too early for Doppler so she actually did a bedside US. That is the kind of care you and your baby deserve! Seek a better medical provider ❤

I’d go a different doctor. I wouldn’t want a dr who made me feel like an inconvenience to them.
