Vaginal health issues

I stopped having sex for about 3 years up until 2017 when I decided to have sex again there was pain present and discharge after that I kept having back to back yeast infection and I always came up negative for stds. And even now I’m still having yeast infections just not as much as before, 4 years ago my vagina was healthy so what’s really going on ?
