Hi everyone,

We’re thinking of naming our baby girl a particular name that happens to be the feminine for the name of one of my close friends’ little six year old son. This wasn’t intentional. My husband loves the name & I’ve grown to really like it myself. It will either be the first or the middle name. If we use it, especially as the first name, do you think my friend might be hurt or offended? I haven’t discussed it with her because she is also currently pregnant & extremely moody (her relationship difficulties aren’t helping). I’m afraid to upset her or be discouraged of using the particular name.
