Working on a relationship?!?!

Do you guys think in order to work on a relationship you have to be around each other or sperate for a little while?

I don’t do breaks. The relationship is either important enough to for you to stick it out and fix it or it isn’t.

I guess it depends on what the problem is. If it’s that you don’t have enough space to yourself or to hang out with friends, a short amount of time apart is good. But I think communication and action are the best ways to work on a relationship and you can’t really do that if you’re apart.

If you need to work on YOURSELF separation may be necessary.
If you need to work on your relationship then being together is needed.

Yes, I wish I would’ve known this sooner
Me and my ex should have taken a break. We had been together all the time and i felt like he was always doing something that was hurting our relationship and i stayed so long and at the end i had been hurt so much i just didn’t wanna be with him anymore.
A few weeks after us breaking up he gets his life together and is begging me to be back with him and everything in my heart wants him back but at the same time I let the relationship carry on so long in negativity that it destroyed how i felt about him and the trust in him and all he said was that he needed Time away to realize how he felt and to clear his head but for me the damage was already done and some cuts were too deep. Point is if I knew he would change his life around and be the person that was best for us  would have left/ taken a break months ago. Some people don’t change until you leave and they realize what they are missing
