Zarbees or other natural cough aids ?

Question

Baby has mucousy nose and cough - another new bug as we get use to daycare I guess. Any suggestions other than steam from a shower to help him ? He’s never had this type of cough ! I feel so bad for him. Ended up giving him Tylenol last two nights because we thought it was teething but today the nose congestion and cough symptoms are more obvious. 
Anyone tried that zarbees stuff ?

I typically use zarbees as well as a humidifier at night. Seems to lessen my sons coughing.

You can just do a spoonful of honey. The Zarbee’s stuff reeks and tastes terrible!

I have used Zarbee’s for cough/cold. Also my ped said I could use Benadryl bc my son was over 1 y/o.

I have before. Its the baby version of lemon and honey. It helps soothe their throat.   Any fever?

Zarbees worked really well for our son the last time he had a cold. I am so glad the doctors told us about it. He was coughing horribly a lot and finally we tried zarbees and it gave him relief.

We use the dark honey zarbees stuff along with baby vaporub and a nice warm bath every other night when he’s super stuffed up
