Is it fair that an actor or singer makes millions while a teacher doesn’t?

Teachers teach children that will become valuable contributors to society, isn’t that valued more than an album or a movie ticket sale?
Why is there such an imbalance in salaries across various jobs?

Im not a patriot but I think its unfair that our soldiers and veterans make way less and sometimes even become homeless while celebrities get paid crazy amounts of money

It’s not like some great unknown entity is giving singers money, that money is given voluntarily by fans/customers. You can’t compare it to teachers because they are paid by the government more or less. The money is from different sources so it seems weird to compare like that but I definitely get the sentiment

Also the fact that there are people out there who can and will buy like 15 cars when they only need like one or two is absolutely insane to me. The waste of money is ridiculous. This is just one example but there’s sooooo much more. It’s crazy.

Well, it doesn't take much talent or skill to be a teacher, unlike with singing and acting. I still think teachers should be paid more than they already are, though. 🤷🏼‍♂️
