Kaiser OB

I am kind of disappointed in Kaiser right now. Anyone else experiencing prenatal care like this with them? At my last prenatal appt with the RN, they scheduled my 36 week appt and she said they would check position, dilation, effacement, and do the Strep B swab test. She said it would be the “big appointment” so I guess I kind of got my hopes up about what to expect.

Today, she did the ultrasound for about 10 seconds, said “yup she’s head down.” And that was it. I asked if she was going to check effacement/dilation and she said it’s not beneficial at this time. I asked if she could tell about how big the baby was, she pushed twice on my stomach and said “maybe around 6 pounds.” I asked if she could tell if she was dropping and preparing and she said you can’t really tell now.

When I see the message boards of people saying their dilation, effacement, lightening position, weight, etc I feel like she should have been able to give me more info.....

Thoughts?
