Money trouble
My husband and I have been married four years.
First couple years I was in school working part time and used my college refunds to pay rent and we split the other bills.
Last four years I have made about twice as much as him so I naturally paid almost all the bills. I took a big pay cut this year and now the bills I’ve been paying take up my entire paycheck. I pay rent, daycare, gas for the cars, water, phone bills, student loans. It’s over $2500. He pays one car note, car insurance, and his loans. Plus health insurance for the kids.
We’ve argued about him needing to make more money so he can help me, but he takes it as hurtful like I’m insulting him, am I wrong for pushing him to make more money to take some of the pressure off me? I went to college and he didn’t so it’s not as easy for him to make a lot
