Never use regular soap on your vagina. The natural pH of your vagina is slightly acidic, around 5-5,5. Soap is VERY basic, it's pH is at least 12 since the chemical reaction behind it is using KOH is liquid soaps and NaOH in solid ones. Those are really basic solutions which cause chemical burns and in severe cases even necrosis. It would alter you pH level significantly and you'd be prone to infections (yeast mainly).
