When did you see your midwife for thr first time??

I rang my midwife office a week ago to book my first appointment and was told they'd call me back but they haven't yet, i dont know if should call today or wait until the 24th when I'm back from my holiday.
Im 6 weeks and 5 days.

I called at 5 weeks to book in for my midwife appointment, was seen at about 8+5 where she filled in all my notes asked lifestyle and health questions and took samples of all kinds 😂

I was6 weeks . When I rang to book they didn’t ask me how far I was. I rang the morning of the app and said I was only 6 weekend and they said that’s fine . They just did lots of paperwork and gave advise on dos and donts  and booked me in for another 2 weeks where they said they will take bloods etc

I had my appt at 9 weeks - midwife was very supportive in moving it from 10 as we were away and I was anxious after a previous MC - and then 1st scan at 13 weeks (was 12 weeks but measured a little further along). I hope that helps x

10 weeks for midwife, nearly 13 weeks for dating scan. 
My GP reception just booked a midwife appointment for me at 10 weeks based on my EDD from LMP.

Where I am you can book in when you want after 6 weeks. I did it four times around 6-8 weeks and each time miscarried. What a waste of time and NHS resources. This time I didn’t book in until my 12 weeks scan. I rang and explained and booked the scan and booking in appointment together. There’s nothing to be gained doing it early in my opinion.

I had my booking appointment (first midwife appointment) at ten weeks and my dating scan at 12 weeks. I wanted my midwife appointment earlier but she said 10 weeks was normal and wouldn't change it.
