Currently debating whether moving to NY. Brooklyn is my top pick... anybody that lives here? What are your opinions? or what do you recommend?

Oh man. You couldn’t pay me to move to New York. Not with all that traffic, plus it’s dirty and expensive.

Subway is cheap, no car payment
Lots to do 
Central Park
Awesome Food
Cons
Extremely high rent (even shared) for small spaces
Hard to meet new people
Higher general cost of living than most places
Competive/Expensive schools if you are in need of anything preschool-college 
I almost moved to NY in 2011, and I have lots of friends that live there. I've visited 4 times, about a month in total, and I love it there. I do try to convince my husband to move there every once in a while, but it's realistically undoable for us for now.

NY is my dream, so if you’re anything like me, it’s worth it.

I recommend staying where you are unless you want to be broke and stressed out all the time.  We’d love to get out of here but my husband is NYPD 👎🏼 also there are some very BAD parts of Brooklyn, Queens, and NYC.  If you do decide to do it please do research on the neighborhoods.
