Kidney stone pain worse?

Hey ladies! So I’m 26w 4D pregnant with our first! A few days ago I was in the hospital over night in the worse pain of my life from kidney stones. I stayed in the labor and delivery ward since I’m farther along and they said so they con monitor baby if needed and so I’m more comfortable. I was told my many friends and some nurses that kidney stone pain is worse then child birth. I’m just wondering how true this is? Any experiences?

I haven’t given birth yet but I have had a kidney stone. At least with having a baby you can get really good pain meds and nurses will try to make you more comfortable. I’m hoping child birth will be easier than passing that stupid stone.

Yeah nope giving birth is way worse. Can’t imagine passing one while pregnant 😭

Nope, kidney stones hurt bad, I’ve passed over 8 on my own and have had surgery 3 times to get big ones removed. Childbirth is 100% worse.

Childbirth way worse. I had the "real contractions" after they broke my water for probably at most 30 minutes and literally thought I was going to die. I cussed my husband out and bit him I was in so much pain. I had a kidney stone and yeah it hurt like hell, but I never felt like I was dying lol
