Hi everyone! I’m Crystal and I’m a mom of 2 girls 10 & 12 and my husband and I are expecting our first baby together. Well, I had an ectopic that moved out of my tube and into my uterus and had a miscarriage which the doctor said was very rare. I was devastated to lose this baby as we had my nexplanon removed and we really wanted that sweet baby! 3 weeks later I developed an ovarian vein thrombophlebitis and went septic and almost died in the SICU. It was a very scary time. Once I was cleared to TTC we conceived this sweet little pumpkin in July! Pregnancy after loss is so different than a pregnancy before a loss. I have worried every second of every day until I could find babies heartbeat on the Doppler. Now I can check in on baby and I’m not so freaked out but I’m still freaked out. My husband is very cautious as well, not only did he lose his baby last time but he almost lost his wife. I can tell a complete difference in him this time. Now that we are almost out of the first trimester we are officially going to announce our pregnancy and now you can tell we are both finally getting excited and not so scared :). Can’t wait to welcome our sweet April babies to the world! Bye bye first trimester!
