I’m a first time mom and I’m still trying to figure things out and I kinda just feel lost in the world of parenting. I was young when I had my daughter and I’m still relatively “young” now. I’ve reached the point in my daughter’s life where she definitely has an opinion and wants to express it. She’s been in her terrible 2’s since she was about 1 1/2 and I feel stuck. I live with my brother and my parents and whenever I try to parent her they all don’t listen and do what they want. I’ve tried timeouts, or putting her in or room, telling her no over and over, and even letting her cry and scream and trying to just ignore it and I’m not sure what’s the best way to go about these things for her to understand. I don’t think she’s a bad child by any means I just want to know how to go about handling her outbursts.
