my boyfriend and i had sex for the first time, quite a good amount of blood was on the condom. I’m supposed to start my period in 2 days so I’m confused on how much blood is normal the first time & how long does it last or if i just started my period.

He may have popped your cherry, and you may possibly started your period along with it. That’s what happened to me when I lost mine. I bled, and had my period with it because I expected my period 2 days after losing mine too

You shouldn’t be bleeding that much in my opinion. I know a lot of people say that it’s normal to bleed the first time but honestly you shouldn’t be bleeding or be in a lot of pain because ideally the hymen should stretch a bit and shouldn’t tear. That usually means you weren’t turned on enough for he wasn’t gentle enough or maybe something could even be wrong. It’s probably your period starting, but if it isn’t or if you bleed the next time you have sex I would definitely recommend a visit to the gynecologist bc you could have torn something.
