Late period or postpartum irregularity?!

Question

So I had my baby boy 4.5 months ago and my period returned around six weeks after birth. Since then it has been very regular, every 28 days (as it was before) for 3 months- however this month I am 5 days late. Negative test this afternoon but haven’t done a morning test yet- pregnancy or just irregular periods after birth (although they had been very regular?)

It was like that for me! I had a normal period for 2 months then out of nowhere they became very irregular and instead of 28 days they were 22 days,  32 days and then some other irregularities like spotting in between. I think it’s just a post partum thing. If you tested and it’s negative I don’t think your pregnant.

I honestly didn’t even get my period back after my little one until she was almost 8 months. I feel like if you took a test and it was negative don’t have to worry about that it’s probably just a weird hormonal thing.
