Sign of dilation?

This evening I started having sharp pains in my cervix, feels like a knife tip is in there... I’m due nov.5th and this is my fourth baby.

Sounds more like baby is tapping your cervix to me.

Sounds like "lightning crotch", ie. when baby hits a nerve or sensitive spot.

I’m also due nov. 5th with my third. I e had similar pains the past two days. I’m anxious to get checked on Monday. This past Monday I wasn’t dilated at all :(

It can be and it might not be. It could be from baby just pressing down causing lightening crotch, baby could be pressing down to try and engage and cause dilation, or you could be dilating.

I had this at 28 weeks. But no dilation till I hit 34 weeks. They said it is just him really low and putting pressure on it. Hope that helps
