Pregnant after mc?

Can you get pregnant after you mc in a short time? Or is there a risk to it?

I miscarried January of this year, my doctor advised to wait 1 to 2 normal cycles to try again. A misscarrage can be very traumatic for your body. Yes, you can get pregnant right away but, your uterus can still be weak and cause you to miscarry again.  I became pregnant after 2 cycles and I'll be 29wks tomorrow.

Yes a did. I MC 1st April 2018. Bled for a week. And conceived 15th April 2018. Were due 4th January 2019 💙🌈

We were advised to wait a cycle for dating purposes in case we got pregnant straight away again, and to check everything has settled down.. but that ultimately it’s up to us and if we feel ready then there’s no physical reason not to.
