So I have a new diagnosis of PCOS and was put on metformin. My doctor is an asshat who spent 10 minutes with me, looked at my history and my ultrasound and put me on metformin without ever explaining pcos to me. Pcos was actually brought up at my follow up with my regular family doctor who mentioned casually that the metformin will help with my pcos (which I didnt know I was diagnosed with) anyways I'm getting a second opinion. So I'm wondering how you lovely ladies were diagnosed. What tests your doctors did was it a long process or were you diagnosed right away. I just want to make sure this next doctor I'm throughou.
