How do you know when you are in love ?

I would like to know how can you tell when you are really in love with someone? What does love feels like and how do you know if the other person feels the same?

When you're having sex and you randomly break down crying in the middle of missionary, cry on him as he holds you, because you are just so emotionally attached to him. I'm not saying go out and have sex and cry on him, but that's what happened to me, I loved him, then I started to cry tears of absolute joy because I was making love with someone I was so attached to, I realized I loved my boyfriend more than anything.

When you picture your future, 1 year, 5 years, 25 years, and every day, every minute is spent with the person. When you get in a fight with them, a bad fight where there's yelling and crying and you are so incredibly angry but all you want to do is run to them, to have them hold you. When you're away from them, they're all you can think about and you cannot wait until the time you can see each other again. 
When you think about stuff like buying a house, paying the bills, and getting a pet and everyone of those sounds more exciting with that person. 
When your heart literally aches when you look into their eyes. When your body doesn't feel like your body unless it's in their arms. When the world seems crooked and tilted and fuzzy unless you can see them or feel them near you. 
When their happiness matters more than your own and the only thing you can think about is making them happy.

It's diferent for everyone. I know because I can't stand to be with out him, even if we are sitting in silence watching TV or with a group of friends. Him being by my side is what I look forward to. And when I'm not with him, I miss him and can't stop thinking abt him, his voice, touch, laugh, smell, his presence. 
Looking into his eyes and getting lost and not wanting to look away. Touching him, whether it's holding hands, cuddling, or being so close that somewhere you touch. And when we do touch I get a shiver down my spine and butterflies in my stomach. Sometimes I'm speechless even. 
Not caring what people think when you kiss or hug. His smell makes me smile. Nothing is "disgusting" about him. He's perfect the way he is. My heart skips a beat when his name pops up on your phone or someone says it. 
No one is viable but him; no other man is attractive or noticed period. And when you're together, the world fades away and it's just you two.

it's something that I can't explain. it's something that's completely different than anyone else I've been with. it wasn't "love at first sight". it just happened and I realized it when we lost each other. that's when we both realized. it hasn't been easy, but that's what solidifies the love we have. it's the effort we put forth, the judgement-free, supportiveness, loyal ness we have. i find myself doing things I've never done before. the gut feeling of knowing I'm meant to be there with him. that no matter what, I'll stand by his side, for the good and ugly.

That's a complex answer. When I feel in love it was completely different than just liking someone. When I knew I was in love for the second time, I knew because one day I was just looking at my SO and I realized that he would be the man I will marry. I know it sounds crazy but it wasn't like I want to marry him and that's it. When I realized that I felt happy and secure. He made me so happy and was and still is my best friend. You feel so safe with him that you open up completely to him. And I knew he loved me back because of the way he treated me and the way looked at me. There's this unique connection you feel when you are in love and that person loves you back. Well that's how I felt it and that's how I knew we were in love.
