Hydronephrosis and c section?

Am I allowed to ask to have a c section of my baby has Hydronephrosis ? I am 4 days away from my due date and i am so scared of giving birth in general let alone a baby that has a problem with both kidneys ! I have my last appt tomarrow and I have debated about asking the dr for a c section but idk if I should even ask

Sometimes I like to ask more general questions, like “what’s the safest way to deliver a baby with hydronephrosis?” Or “would you recommend a csection?” That way they are less likely to get defensive and you can get the info you need.

I'm an L&D nurse. We just had a mom give birth to a baby with hydronephrosis vaginally and the baby was fine.
