Are all these bubbles normal?

I'm a new mom.  My son is 4 weeks old. He seems to be very gassy and burping a lot. He'll eat, burp during feeding and after, fall asleep and then wake up crying because he needs to burp again or fart or poop. It's so much that it's disrupting his sleep. I mostly hold him while he sleeps because all his bubbles wake him up so frequently. Is this normal?

Normal. And FYI: I held my daughter to sleep a lot and that turned into a habit. She only wanted to sleep while being held. Things can unintentionally turn into habits that can sometimes be hard to break.

My ped recommended gas drops, and we used a gripe water called colic gone. The colic gone helped our son with gas and bowel movements wonderfully.

When they're that little I always try to burp them an ounce to an ounce and a half just to make sure that they're burping enough so they don't get bubbles and then make sure you burp him really good he's done eating good luck mama.

Hey momma, burping a lot can be normal but if you feel like something is up check in with your doctor. You know your baby better than anybody. Our son cried and was gassy the first 2 months of his life before we found out he had a milk protein intolerance and we had to change formulas/change my diet to breastfeed. They kept saying he was just colic, but I knew something wasn’t right. Trust your instincts. ❤️ hugs to you

It can be normal.  My first three were gassy but they seemed unbothered by it.  My fourth was gassy from a strong let down and was very bothered by it.  
I did eventually learn that if she was pumping her arm, there was a burp trapped.  We also had issues when she became too long to stretch her legs significantly (and let the toots out) in her swaddleme.  I started swaddling in muslin blankets and that let her stretch a bit more making for a much happier baby.

At 4 weeks old there’s no such this an “uninterrupted sleep.” 
If you’re formula feeding check with your ped - he could have a small sensitivity to some of the ingredients and that’s making him extra gassy. He’s going to burp and fart a lot regardless, but if it’s really bothering him consider your diet if you’re breastfeeding: dairy can often make their tummy upset, or check the formula ingredients.
