Looking for advice please

Leann

Probably unlike most of you, I may have more cards stacked against me. Not that it's impossible because I turn 42 next month, but I had my last depo shot in April 2018 and was on it for almost 15 years. I have a 23 year year old son and went on the depo for about 5-6 years after and got my period back relatively quick after getting off it the first time. Went on the pill for about a year, but was terrible with that(and could have gotten pregnant from forgetting to take it a few times). Was switching insurance companies and waiting to get in with new doctor and well...got pregnant with my daughter. I haven't had a period except for the 1 time after having my daughter before my 6 week check up. I've had 2 healthy pregnancies and no losses. I was due for my shot July 23rd. I have been taking prenatals, maca, vitex since mid June(when my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to ttc)and recently started DIM. I feel like because some women have had to wait up to 2 years before getting regular, I feel like time is of the essence and I need to try to hurry the process of getting my periods back as soon as possible. Unfortunately with my age I don't even know how regular my cycle would be not having it in so long, so I'm giving acupuncture a try. Had 1 appointment and have my next 1 tomorrow which will be a foot soak and acupuncture. It's weird to actually hope and pray that today is the day I start getting my period. Any other words of advice for help or encouragement would be appreciated. Thank you ladies!
