Baby shower with little friends and family 😕

Has anyone thrown a small successful baby shower? I’m having anxiety because I don’t know a lot of people that I’m close to. I only have my husbands family and a bit of mine just parents and siblings unless he wants others to be there. I only have like two friends I feel I can ask to come comfortably. This just sucks , I’m horrible at making friends I suffer huge anxiety and depression, but now I want to celebrate this baby and idk what to do ☹️ if I do anything I need to get the ball rolling because I want to have it in December.
