At a loss

My best friends mom died almost four years ago. Every year I get my friend a big bouquet of flowers and take her to do something on her Mom’s death anniversary. This year I’m not able to take her out as she moved across the country. I will be ordering her a bouquet of flowers and having them delivered but I’m having difficulty of finding something to put on the card. I want something that is sentimental but uplifting at the same time. Anyone have any ideas of what to put or what I could put? Or even a bible verse that fits the occasion? I am not religious so I don’t know the Bible. But she is religious. Can anyone help me out with some ideas?
