Hormonal migraine sufferers!

How long after stopping your birth control did it take for the headaches to get better?

Back story: I've been on birth control pills for 13 years non stop. The only break from that being a 2-3 year period where I tried the depo shot. I've had headaches/migraines for as long as I can remember & both my neurologist & gynecologist have said they are hormonal and that stopping the birth control would help.

Well, we've finally reached a point that stopping the birth control has become an option. However, I've had a headache going on 3 weeks now. A girl can only take so much Excedrin, y'all!

Does it ever get better?!
