My period is 15 days late....

I took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago and it was negative, my period can be normal for 2 months then it takes a couple more weeks for me to actually get it.. I am ttc I'm just really confused because having a period like mine and mild cramping and now mild sore boobs is like... ok is it my period or should I test.. ughh.
