Hi ladies! I would love to see if there are any mommies on here that have hashimotos or general hypothyroid issues. I’ve had issues since I was a teen, but have never seen an endo bc my gp actually refused to send me to one!

My first pregnancy went smoothly, my levels were off a bit here and there but I had my new gp adjust them. This pregnancy has been kinda a nightmare.

At 5 weeks my levels were almost at 11 (should be at 2). I emailed and heard back 2 weeks later...that I needed to wait an additional two weeks unti saw my midwife. She wasn’t worried and I had to wait another 6 weeks after that for another blood draw, which then saw my levels rise to over 18! Didn’t hear back for two weeks, and when I did I found out that I could no longer see my midwife and had been referred to a new obgyn for closer monitoring. I’m extremely aggravated at my midwife, because I asked multiple times to have my levels adjusted and she never did until it became a worry for baby and myself. I have an appointment with my new obgyn tomorrow, and im not sure what to expect. There doesn’t seem to be many stories out there of women who have high numbers and how their births went.
