Pregnancy affecting cats?

Ashes
I have three male cats and they are usually really well behaved but ever since I missed my period in July they have been peeing on the carpet and jumping on things they haven't before, scratching up furniture and eating/destroying all my plants and breaking valuables that they have always left alone. I have had one cat for three years who would never sit on your lap he would sit next to you but never on you. Well the past month he has been laying on me constantly. I have had another cat for two years (who is now the culprit of peeing on the carpet) and this latest cat for 8 months now (who has clawed up my kitchen cabinets). Non of them are kittens. And non of them ever had behavior problems before. I just found out today that I was pregnant but I missed my period last month I took a pregnancy test last month after my first missed period but it came back negative. Today I took multiple and they all said positive. Could the pregnancy hormones be affecting my male cats and could they have sensed it that much earlier than a pregnancy test could have?
