I hate to be that mom. But my friend has her daughter in front of the TV 24/7. And I mean that.

It’s always on. Sometimes she’s strapped to her high chair, sometimes she’s walking around and playing with things, but there exists no single photo or video of the child without her eyes glued to the screen.

They go outside maybe once a week in good weather. She has never sat with her daughter and played. She’s almost three and cannot say one word, not mama, not daddy, not ‘no’ or ‘yes’. She has no attention span, she is aggressive and she isn’t even close to potty trained. They give her microwaved chicken nuggets for practically every meal.

Should I talk to someone about this? I have tried and tried with her mother to be an active parent, to see how damaging she is, she’s caught up in her own world of “heartbreak” and dating men constantly.
