how many of each size?

hi mamas! so I am due in March and I am slowly buying my baby boy some clothes that way I dont have to worry about it once hes born. My question is, as a general rule of thumb, how much of each size worked for you? I'm a stay at home mom so I am able to do laundry as needed. What do you ladies think?

I was like the other post in that I didnt think I would need new born. He was 7 weeks Sunday and is just now getting to where the new born is a little snug and 0-3 month arent hilariously too big. I ended up having to buy some new born outfits (i just got them at the thrift store).

Just some advice
Buy one or two premie outfit and put in hospital bag. So many don’t and even up needing premie clothes. (If you don’t use them leave for another mom in need or return for bigger size) I am personally not buying newborn clothes I’m more on 0-3^. It’s okay if they clothes are baggy. They won’t be for long.

Honestly I thought my whole pregnancy my little one would be too big for newborn and only bought 0-3mo. He came out 8lbs 5oz and still wore newborn because 0-3mo were hilariously big. 
My advice is to go with mostly 0-3mo and get a few newborn items, leave the tags on until you know what size your baby will need and you can always exchange them.

My son wore newborn and 0-3 for a month, if not less. He was almost 9 pounds. Now he’s in 3 month clothes at 14 lbs and 12 weeks old.

If you’re having a baby shower, I wouldn’t worry about buying any clothes until after that. You might get a clothing dump around the holidays too. People LOVE gifting baby clothes.
