Birth Control Experiences?

I've had implanon for about 2 1/2 years. It's been pretty bad.

I was on birth control for 12 years. I've done most of the oral contraceptives, ortho evra (the patch), and mirena. I got prego on the patch, as did several other girls I knew. I've also known 2 women who got prego w implanon. I loved mirena, I've always had horrible periods- but not w that. HOWEVER, I would encourage all women to look into the effects of long term hormone exposure- I WILL NEVER TAKE BIRTH CONTROL AGAIN.

I've only tried 3 forms of birth control, and I didn't care for any of them. The pills made me nauseous and TOO laid back (nothing bothered me practically ever, which is not as awesome as it sounds!). The DEPO made me gain massive weight and made me SO moody for weeks after I received a shot. I had a reaction to condoms, even though in not typically allergic to latex. I'm so glad to be pregnant and not have to worry about both control for a little while. :/

I was super freaked out over the side effects of the impalanon so I went with mirena and althought the inversion and first couple days were pretty unpleasant, it's been smooth sailing so far just over a month with it in
