Do I need both??

Hi ladies! So, on my registry I have a Fisher-Price Deluxe Newborn Auto Rock n' Play Sleeper  and an Ingenuity Simple Comfort Cradling Swing. Now, the Rock n Play rocks side to side and plays soothing music. The Cradling Swing plays music and swings side to side and back and forth. Are they both necessary to have? I've read and heard great things about both, but I'm unsure if I need both of them.

Neither are necessary. No reason to not put both on there. Some babies like one and not the other

I wouldn’t get it unless you need it after baby. With my first, I had so much crap I never even opened. With my second, I didn’t buy anything except a $30 bouncer and it was a lifesaver. This child will get whatever it needs after it’s born.

Please be careful. I use to use the inclined gear as well until I learned they are not safe. They can compromise the airway and increase the risk of SIDS. I am not saying do not use them at all, just be careful and only use them when you know your child will be monitored very very closely!

My daughter hated the rock n play, but loved the swing,...so...it could go either way. It’s hard to say which one you would use more. Maybe take one off and buy a used one later if you want it later.

I'd keep the rocker, swing you probably won't need if you have a rocker.
