Baby shower dress- when to buy?

We are having the shower next month on the 24th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving so my mom and stepdad can be here from out of town. I am currently 26 weeks and *sometimes* look prego but I'm more growing out from side-to-side instead of front-to-back. I was also a little chubby when I conceived.
I want to wear a flowy dress I found online but don't know if it'll look good in 5 weeks like I'm hoping. I am already self conscious about my belly because it just seems my fat is being pushed out instead of being taut like the cute bellies I see on here. This is also my first baby. I am currently 175 at 5'6". I also have no ass lol

I would say check the return policies and shipping on wherever you plan to get your dress first. And have a back plan.  I bought my dress on Sept 29th from Old Navy and it fit. My shower is Saturday, I tried the dress on again on Monday and it looked horrible. I had to hop on Amazon and look for an alternative that was delivered today.

Girl you will probably really start popping out in the next few weeks! That’s when i did. I’m 28 weeks now and my belly is poppin out! I felt the same way you do before that though. I would go ahead and order the dress to make sure it looks right on you though, so you have time to send back if it doesn’t fit or if you don’t like it.
