Which bassinet worked for you?

We dont want to get a crib since our apartment is only a one bedroom. We were thinking of going with this bassinet. What are your thoughts? & what has worked better for you ladies? I also have the rocking sleeper but idk how comfterable i feel about letting him sleep
there all night.

Skip the bassinet. Go for a pack and play with a bassinet insert. They aren't in the bassinet for very long. Majority of my friends' babies were in their bassinet for 4-6 weeks.

Trust me - skip the bassinet. Bassinets can only be used at most a few months. Once baby can start rolling over they can’t use them anymore. Even though it’s uncommon, my baby started rolling over at 3 weeks. But most pediatricians are advising using bassinets past 3 months as it increasing the risk of SIDS. I have a tiny one bedroom as well, we got a crib that transitions into a toddler bed and put it in the front room. But a pack n play is a great option too, especially to save space as you can pack it up if needed.

I have friends in a one-bedroom rent controlled apartment and they used a crib from day 1. Their daughter is now 4 and they still live in their 1-bedroom apartment. They took down the front rail of her crib to convert it into a toddler bed and she’s still in the same room with them. It’s not ideal, but it works! It’ll save you money in the long run to just skip the bassinet, which only lasts a few months at the most.

We had a arms reach cosleeper in our room and loved it. It’ll the mattress is the same size as a pack and play but it was more slim on the sides so it fit in our room nicely. We will use it again with baby #2.
