Okay girls. I need some answers/help.

My boobs are fine unless I squeeze them but my nipples are so painful. Any words of wisdom from anyone that’s experienced this would be good. I was ovulating about a week and a half ago and I’m due my period on Tuesday. Could it be my hormones changing because of my period coming or could it be a very very early sign of pregnancy?
