Depends on the relationship and the boundaries stated during the relationship. Me and my SO talked about it and both consider it cheating, but that’s US. Some couples have no problem with their SO watching porn, some watch it together. It really just comes down to communicating your boundaries with your partner.

I’m more on the yes side to this. Mainly because yes, it is fantasy. And obviously no, they won’t ever meet that person and do stuff with them. However, in my opinion, I don’t judge people who believe it is. I can understand why. If porn is affecting a relationship where it’s a priority rather than sex. But that’s not what I mainly think about. Why I think the way I do, is because in my opinion, looking at another male/female behind the others back is wrong. If you can’t tell your partner about something, you shouldn’t be doing it. If someone is watching porn I feel like yes, maybe they are fantasizing about their SO. But, at the same time it’s hard to tell because it makes me wonder if they have fantasies about the porn star. (Even though you can’t really be with them.) anyways. Why I find it cheating is because you are getting off by the help of another person. Even if they aren’t touching YOU. Porn is the only thing that makes me think this way. Maybe I fear my SO would think of whoever and would always think of her. I’m not sure. It’s my opinion though. Porn is cheating to me because it would be like your SO asking another women for nudes. When he has you for nudes, or sex.

Because one isn’t having a physical nor emotional conception with the screen. It’s mere fantasy. Forgotten as soon as the screen goes black
