How does it feel to feel the baby move?

Ok so I'm 17 weeks and my first baby, and I was wondering how does it feel to feel the first time the baby moves? I always feel like it's moving but idk what it is?

It kind of feels like gas bubbles mixed with a muscle twitch in the early stages. When you get further along its harder to describe but you will definitely know. Try lying on your back and poking at your belly a bit to get baby to move.

When I first felt my daughter move I thought it was like the sensation of having a very small fish brush against you when you swim. Weird, I know.

I felt the baby move first at 20 weeks, 1 day. Everyone said it would feel like air bubbles popping, which I had no idea what that would feel like, but now I completely agree. I think I felt some movement on a couple occasions prior, but for the past 4 days, I have the air bubble popping sensation multiple times a day so I know this has to be it!

Feels like butterflies. when I was pregnant with my first I was stopped at a red light and I felt this weird flutter in my Lower Stomach and there was no denying that it was my baby's first movement, but I didn't feel it again for Another week or so. it will always get stronger as your pregnancy gets further along, till you will eventually see actual body parts (elbows/knees) popping out of your stomach!

It will feel like jitters or like bubbles below your belly button and you shouldn't feel it until between 15wks and 20wks. Once the baby is bigger, it will feel incredible. I can't really describe it. I personally absolutely love the feeling.
