My son is 3w3d (I’m a FTM)...I had a minor first degree tear when I had him and my husband said they only gave me 2 stitches, one of my stitches came out 5 days after I had him.

I was showering last night cleaning myself down there, and I think I felt what is my other stitch (felt like a string)...is it normal for there to still be a stitch even though it’s been more than 3 weeks? Also, everything still feels pretty swollen down there and I couldn’t even imagine having anything inserted inside me 😂 *we haven’t done anything, I’m obviously waiting to be cleared by my doctor...but I’ve read on here that some women don’t wait the 6 weeks and I’m honestly confused as to how they can get a penis inside of them with how things are feeling down there currently*

How long should it take before I don’t feel so swollen?! I feel like I’ve come a long way though bc 2 weeks ago it was hurting so bad I could barely sit down/walk and it would take me 30 mins to use the restroom and clean myself up 😂!
